Exotic Fishing Thailand complies fully with all local COVID-19 regulations and expects all visitors to do the same while on-site.

Please inform management immediately if you experience any COVID-like symptoms

Fishery Ethos & Safety
This is a strictly catch and release fishery
Fish welfare is the highest priority at all times
Many fish are rare and among the largest of their species globally
Rules are in place to protect both anglers and fish when handling powerful specimens

Fishery Guides (Important)
Every angler is supported by a fishery guide
Guides assist with landing, handling, and fish care
Guides supervise up to two groups at a time
The guide’s decision on rigs, safety, and fish handling is final
Drag settings will be checked before fishing begins
Guides will net all fish

Fish Handling & Photography
Fish must never be taken onto the bank
Photos are taken in the water only, at your own risk
Only enter the water when instructed by your guide
Remove watches, jewellery, and prepare cameras beforehand
If a fish shows stress, it will be returned immediately without a photo
When holding fish:
Stay at least 2 metres from the swim
Keep fish low over the water
Keep hands away from gills and mouth

Weighing Policy
Fish are not routinely weighed
Experienced weight estimates are provided
Estimates are intentionally conservative

Communication
Staff primarily speak Thai and may have limited English
Please be patient and understanding

Emergency Procedure
In case of emergency, blow the whistle repeatedly to alert staff

All guests must read and sign the fishery rules and waiver upon arrival

That the fishery is not liable for injuries

Photos taken during your stay may be used for promotional purposes

Fishery Rules
Fishing hours are 08:00 – 19:00. Lines must be removed promptly at 19:00.
Fishing tickets must be paid on arrival. Identification may be required.
A 6,000 baht charge applies for lost rods/reels.
Do not place rods on concrete surfaces.
Fish only from your assigned swim—no moving around the lake.
Only bait supplied by the fishery may be used.
Only EFT-approved hook links are permitted (back leads and PVA allowed).
Only approved tackle may be used (subject to fishery inspection).
Check rigs before every cast to avoid fish injury.
Play fish correctly—guides will assist with drag settings.
Use a single firm strike only—do not strike repeatedly.
No swimming or entering the water unless instructed by a guide.
No littering—use bins and ashtrays provided.
Boats are strictly prohibited.
All fish must be landed by a guide using fishery equipment.
Rods must never be left unattended.
Blow the whistle immediately when you hook a fish.
Reel in all other rods when playing a fish.
No illegal substances permitted on-site.
No outside alcohol or drinks allowed.
Report any injured or unusual fish immediately.
Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Under 12s may only fish as part of a family package with supervision.
No shouting or loud music—respect other anglers.
